Beginning Monday, June 9, 2025, the McAllen Independent School District will begin their Summer school program. In following safety protocols for all students, city school parks will continue to follow the normal school day gate closure schedule. The following parks (see list below) located at McAllen Independent School District schools will only be open to the public Monday through Friday during the times listed below. All parks listed will be open Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. through 11:00 p.m.
