The McAllen Chamber of Commerce and Rio Grande LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) have teamed up to offer local vendor workshops in an effort to inform local companies how they can benefit from Rio Grande LNG’s projects on Thursday, April 14. Representatives from Rio Grande LNG will be in attendance to introduce the company to local businesses and the community. They will outline the types of goods and services that the project will need during construction and operations, and explain and help businesses understand the qualification process in order to bid on work, giving local companies the greatest opportunity to participate and benefit from this project.
In McAllen there will be two sessions, at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the McAllen Chamber, 1200 Ash Ave. These events are free to attend, but anyone interested must reserve a space at https://www.riograndelng.com/workshop.
