This recognition celebrates Jorge’s remarkable contributions to fostering entrepreneurship and economic development across McAllen and its region.
Jorge exemplifies the spirit of the community he serves. Having been part of the McAllen Chamber of Commerce for over 10 years, Jorge’s journey is one of dedication and growth. He began as an intern and worked his way up to Vice President of Economic Development, demonstrating a deep commitment to the success of McAllen and its entrepreneurs.
“I’ve been made in McAllen,” said Jorge. “This city has given me the foundation and opportunities to grow, and it’s an honor to give back by supporting the local businesses and entrepreneurs who make our community thrive.”
Through his leadership, Jorge has conducted over 1,000 business consultations, offering strategic guidance and resources to entrepreneurs. By leveraging 17 innovative programs designed to foster entrepreneurship, he has made a significant regional impact, empowering small businesses to succeed and grow in McAllen.
