Edwards Abstract and Title Co. is pleased to announce that Mariana Ragousis Ramirez has earned the National Title Professional designation as awarded by the American Land Title Association and the NTP Council. The National Title Professional (NTP) Designation is designed to recognize land title professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, experience, and dedication essential to the safe and efficient transfer of real property. The NTP also represents a measure of achievement and commitment to career development.

Albrecht, Chair of the NTP Council, shared her congratulations with Mariana and stated, “You have demonstrated your knowledge, experience and dedication to our industry, and we are honored to welcome you to this elite group of designees. We appreciate your commitment to the land title industry.”
Mariana started her career in the title insurance industry in 2003 with Edwards Abstract and Title Co. as Escrow Assistant at the McAllen office. Because of her hard work and dedication, she was promoted as Escrow Officer with her own book of business in 2012. Over the years, Mariana utilized her knowledge and experience to coordinate multi-million dollar commercial transactions and handled a variety of orders including construction, ranchland, residential and working with investors.
In 2025, Mariana was named Vice President of Education and Training for the eight full-service offices operated by Edwards Abstract and Title Co. in Cameron and Hidalgo counties.
Mariana has the distinction of being a title insurance industry professional who has earned all four professional title certifications available, including all three with the Texas Land Title Association (Certified Escrow Settlement Professional, Certified Abstract Examination Professional, and Certified Title Insurance Professional). She is also currently one of three people in the Rio Grande Valley to hold the NTP Designation.
