Major Public Online Marketplace Comes to Pharr

PHARR, Texas – ATX Auctions today announced the launch of its newest location in the heart of the RGV, providing consumers and businesses throughout the area with a new way to purchase all types of merchandise at huge discounts.  

“We’re very excited to bring the online auction experience to everyone here in the Valley,” said Nancy Garza Lewin, owner of ATX Auctions McAllen. “Our auctions place pricing power with the customer rather than the other way around. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of being the winning bidder on merchandise at an incredible bargain price.”

has over 10,000 square feet of operating space for inventory. Garza Lewin says the online marketplace has launched its first live auction for bidding, with a closing date of March 3. “Our auction process has built-in consumer safeguards, and onsite previews are available prior to each auction.” 

After registering with ATX Auctions, customers can place a bid, or select a “watch” on any lots they’re interested in. Registered customers are able to opt-in to receive emails and/or text message reminders and notifications and bid status alerts, along with warehouse pickup dates and times. Initial bidding starts at $5 for each lot, with no reserve pricing. ATX Auctions utilizes HiBid.com as its online auction platform, providing bidders with the safety and security offered by one of the nation’s largest and most trusted auction software providers. Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Nancy is a graduate of Edinburg High School, and has an extensive professional career in education at every level. “I’m so happy to return to the Valley and spend more time with family and friends,” says Garza Lewin. “With this new venture, we’ll be providing families and businesses throughout the area with the ability to acquire great products at tremendous discounts in a fun and convenient way.” 

ATX Auctions McAllen plans to host a new auction every two weeks initially, with hundreds of Lots offered for each auction. Auction closing dates are subject to change depending on inventory levels and freight schedules. After the closing date of each auction, winning bidders are able to pick up their merchandise directly at the warehouse shipping dock, conveniently located adjacent to Hwy. 281 South at 5117 N. Cage Blvd., Suite 104, in Pharr, Texas.

Nancy has over 23 years of education experience as a teacher, school administrator, special education director, chief academic officer, and adjunct professor. She earned her doctoral degree in professional leadership and Master of Education degree at the University of Houston, and is a graduate of the Educator’s Entrepreneurial Fellowship Program at Rice University.
