The Crawfish Boil Foundation recently distributed $40,000 between four local children’s charities from the proceeds of their annual Crawfish Boil, held April 21, 2023, at the Payne Auto Group Rodeo Arena at the RGV Livestock Show Grounds in Mercedes. The charities: Capable Kids Foundation, Foster Angels of South Texas, Make A Wish Rio Grande Valley, and the Vannie Cook Children’s Cancer and Hematology Clinic each received $10,000 as a pledge by the CBF to donate the net proceeds from their fundraising events to support local charities who will utilize these funds in the Rio Grande Valley.

Additionally, thanks to Shane Smith and the Saints, The Powell Brothers, Southern Ashes, and everyone who attended the Crawfish Boil for helping these local charities.
