City of McAllen’s New Year’s Eve Bash 2014. Join the city of McAllen at the McAllen Convention Center Tuesday, December 31st to bring in the New Year!
Headlining the City of McAllen’s New Year’s Eve Bash on Tuesday, December 31st at the McAllen Convention Center will be Little Joe & La Familia.
Little Joe & La Familia is one of the most popular Tex-Mex bands in the music industry. Little Joe has celebrated his 50th anniversary in entertainment and has been described as the “King of the Brown Sound.” He helped to pioneer Tejano music, a mix of traditional norteno music with country, blues and rock styles.
Other local Tejano acts will open up for Little Joe on the main pavilion stage, and the entertainment doesn’t end there! Bands such as, Whiskey D, will be playing on the rock stage and the top 40/mix stage will feature dj’s from The Mix Academy. Stilt walkers and the magician’s corner were favorites at last year’s bash, along with a carnival and an intense fireworks finale at midnight.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with FREE admission and FREE parking.
