Just recently, Texas Border Business met with a young talent who sings, composes, plays guitar and has the and artistic energy to make it in this field. He is Leonado Barron. His latest song, Jezabel, promises to bring you the truth about yourself and your most intimate companion.
He has been working on his latest for quite some time and now he has a song that will rock you and will make you meditate and evaluate your life and those around you.
The lyrics are in Spanish, but Jezabel is rhythmic, inviting to dance with a valuable message. It talks about Jezabel being the queen of fantasy, someone that plays the victim but in reality, you are the prey.
Leonado Barron has given us permission to publish the lyrics of Jezabel and also to share with you twenty seconds of his song. Above this story you’ll find a music player, his latest song Jezabel.
Leonado Barron is a McAllen native and songwriter with a real message. He has the talent of his father, the late Juan H. Barron, a composer of more than 300 songs. “My father has a big name in the regional Mexican music industry,” Leonado told Texas Border Business. “He discovered Alicia Villarreal and “Grupo Límite” and the songs that he wrote have been recorded by Ramón Ayala, La Mafia, Los Cachorros del Norte, Juan Villarreal, and many more.”
His dad started as a drummer for Ramon Ayala and Los Cachorros; that was his start in the industry and in 1995, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
“My dad passed away in 92 but he left so much, that when I do regional Mexican music mixed with Latin Pop I am in touch with him again.”
Leonado said, “First of all I’m a singer-songwriter. That is my nature. I mainly focused on recording and doing videos in a genre of Latin pop music. Recently I decided to get out of my comfort zone and I went to Monterrey, Mexico and I hired a top-notch producer that has hits on mainstream today.”
With Jezabel everything changes for him, his new song it’s based on Jezabel a woman from the Old Testament in the Bible. This song, according to him, gives you a blueprint on how someone like Jezabel could manipulate you.
“It’s very catchy. It’s very witty,” he said with excitement.
He started writing differently because he feels that music nowadays has lost depth. He also said that with this song he starts a new chapter of his life that forgives. He said, “I must forgive, let it go and move on.”
