The McAllen Chamber of Commerce and Texas Regional Bank are proud to announce an upcoming Lunch and Learn to help small businesses. This is the first professional presentation of its “Spring 2019 Lunch & Learn Business Seminar Series” and is scheduled for Monday, January 7th, 2019.
Leading in today’s world means understanding your clients and your employees. Organizations and teams must constantly work to ensure everyone is heard and included to maximize productivity, potential and success. Diversity of communication and decision-making are integral to these attributes. Attendees will experience activities that impart successful strategies for leading and communicating across generations. The result will be positively actionable for both teams, organizations and clients.
In the session labeled “Leading and Communication – Making it Work Generationally!”, participants will learn:
- Understand the traits and characteristics of 5 generations
- Understand different communication preferences and how they react to and deal with miscommunicationÂ
- Engage in multiple activities that
allows them to apply what they learn in their own team and/or organization - Have fun and start 2019 with a new perspective!Â
The seminar will be held at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, located at 1200 Ash Ave in McAllen. The Lunch & Learn Session will run from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm, and lunch will be provided for registered attendees. The session carries a $15.00 fee for McAllen Chamber members and $20.00 fee per for non-members per attendee.
