WESLACO/McALLEN, Texas – Hope Insurance Agency, LLC proudly announces that Laura Rangel has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer of Hope Insurance Agency, LLC. Ms. Rangel has been with Hope Insurance since 2016 and has served as Vice President for the last several years managing the Weslaco office of Hope Insurance.
Laura, born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry.She has worked with captive insurance companies and previously owned an independent agency located in her hometown, Mercedes, TX. She puts an emphasis on building long-term relationships with her customers. Fluent in English and Spanish, Laura graduated from the University of Texas-Pan American with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Spanish. She currently serves on the board of the Weslaco Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on the Steering Committee Advisory Board for Leadership Mid-Valley. She is an alumnus of Leadership Mid-Valley, Class XIV, and is a strong advocate of promoting the program.
