The Pharr Community Theater in association with Edinburg Arts are pleased to present a free to the public presentation of LA ZAPATERA PRODIGIOSA written by Federico Garcia Lorca and directed by Pedro Garcia. Staged last August in Pharr, this comical two act play in Spanish returns, only this time at the Edinburg City Auditorium, 415 W University Drive on Thursday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m. The story written in the 1930’s is a comedy/drama about an older shoemaker married to a younger woman. The local production has 12 actors and is suitable for the entire family but is mostly appreciated by an older audience. There will be no cover charge and seating is first come first serve.
