McALLEN, TX – Telemundo 40 Rio Grande Valley / KTLM announced that Karina Segovia joins the station as Meteorologist for NoticiasTelemundo40. Segovia joined News Anchor Denisse Salinas from Monday through Friday at 11:00 am on September 6.
“Segovia is a very well-known on-air personality in the Rio Grande Valley. Her detailed forecasts will greatly benefit our viewers,” said Iris Rodriguez, News Director, Telemundo 40. “With Karina, our ability to deliver important meteorological information gets stronger, and so does our weather authority team, which is committed to informing our viewers about severe weather changes.”
Segovia joins Telemundo 40 after working for our sister station Telemundo Houston. Previously, she served as a weather anchor for two years at KNVO in McAllen, Texas. Segovia earned her Meteorologist degree from Mississippi State University and attended the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where she earned a journalism degree.
