The City of San Juan, Texas has appointed Jorge Zambrano as its new Municipal Judge. His brother, attorney, Jesse Zambrano, principal of the Zambrano Law Firm, announced the appointment, reflecting a proud family tradition of service and dedication to the Rio Grande Valley community.
“We are incredibly proud of Jorge and have no doubt that his exceptional qualities and dedication will serve our community well,” said Jesse Zambrano. “Congratulations to the Honorable Judge Jorge Zambrano! We look forward to seeing the positive impact he will continue to make for the community.”
Jorge’s contributions extend beyond his work at the Zambrano Law Firm where he serves as Case Manager. He is also a licensed Realtor experienced in commercial and residential real estate transactions. Additionally, from 2016 to 2024, he served on the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD Board of Trustees. During his eight-year tenure, Jorge played an integral role in shaping policies and programs that positively impacted students and educators throughout the district.
As a proud PSJA High School graduate, Jorge understands the value of education and has consistently advocated for its importance in transforming lives and communities. His dedication echoes the family’s commitment to educational initiatives, including the PSJA Real Estate Program, which is a program that allows students to complete the state requirements to earn a Real Estate License by the time they graduate from high school. Additionally, Jorge was instrumental along with his brother Jesse establishing the Pre-Law Institute at PSJA, which is a program dedicated to students interested in careers in law.
As Municipal Judge, Jorge Zambrano will oversee court proceedings and ensure compliance with city ordinances in the City of San Juan. His appointment is evidence of his dedication to justice, fairness, and service.
