MISSION, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol partners with the Hidalgo County Constables Office (HCCO) Precinct 4 to stop stash house operations in a rural South Texas neighborhood.
Yesterday afternoon, Rio Grande Valley Sector agents working in conjunction with the HCCO responded to a home in Mission, Texas, suspected of operating as a human smuggling stash house. Upon arrival, agents observed a vehicle leave the residence and with the assistance of a HCCO deputy, conducted a vehicle stop. As a result, agents identified the six occupants as illegal aliens. Agents and deputies then returned to the residence. Inside the small house, agents discovered an additional 16 illegal aliens. The subjects are from the countries of Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.
Border Patrol processed the case accordingly.
