There were moments of despair, times when giving up seemed the only option. But that’s when we looked within and asked how we could use this adversity to improve and do better.”
Gonzalez believes that the pandemic has projected his firm into new heights. It has, in his words, “taken it to the stratosphere, like the ‘no limits’ Super Bowl commercial in which I was launched into space to destroy an asteroid.” He continued, “Adversity is an invitation to evolve and change. Use the setbacks and obstacles as opportunities to question, ‘What lies before me? How can I overcome this?’ Every single member of my law firm and team stood firm. We stuck together, paving a new path.”

When asked about his experience practicing law via Zoom during court closures, Gonzalez stressed the importance of reputation. “Insurance companies distinguished which law firms they could respect and those they couldn’t. During the pandemic, we managed to settle thousands of clients’ cases and deliver millions of dollars. Other firms, hindered by closed courts, failed to achieve similar outcomes. Reputation, therefore, played a critical role in championing our clients’ cases, often without needing a courtroom.”
Despite traditional channels being unavailable, the law firm innovatively found other means to continue winning cases and securing payments for clients. Gonzalez is looking forward to the completion of their Edinburg headquarters, a 14,000 sq. ft. office that will mark their sixth strategic location near major express roads for easy client accessibility.
