Texas Border Business
The Texas Association of Business represents thousands of companies of all sizes and industry sectors in the Lone Star State and includes 200 local chamber partners that employ hundreds of thousands of Texans and produces $8 billion annually in business. Founded in 1922, TAB is the bi-partisan voice fighting for public policy issues that grow Texas jobs. It is led by a Board of Directors; which Jacob is a member of now.
Mr. Monty is the founder and Managing Partner of the Houston-based law firm Monty & Ramirez LLP.
He has held presidential and gubernatorial appointments to the University of Houston Board of Regents, the Texas Private Security Board, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the National Hispanic Advisory Council for Trump, the Border Environment Cooperation Commission, and the North American Development Bank. Jacob also serves as Outside Counsel for the Mexican Consulate in Houston and chairs the Center for Latino Jewish Relations.
