PHARR, Texas – POET’s (The Pharr Police Department and the Pharr Ordinance Enforcement Team) objective is to develop and implement solutions to city issues, including faster ways to identify an address, address visibility, abandoned vehicles in the city, improvement to troubled streets, among other issues.
POET has formed new partnerships and has been able to accomplish major projects. POET’s most recent project, home address plaques, received huge outside attention from a Facebook post.
