Starting today, homes across the country will receive invitations, to complete the 2020 census either online or over the phone. It is expected that this year’s census will be the largest official population count in the United States.

“I urge everyone to take part in the 2020 Census regardless of your status.” said Congressman Cuellar, “Anyone who is a resident in the United States needs to be counted because this count will have a lasting impact on our communities for the next ten years.

“Trillion of dollars in federal funding and the allocation of congressional seats are all at stake. In order to work towards equal representation, we must all do our part, especially historically underrepresented communities. No matter your nationality, immigration status, or living situation, you count. Your information will stay safe with the Census Bureau, as they continue to take proper protocols to ensure that all submitted information remains confidential.”
