Most of the information in this report came from the so-called “mañanera” press conference provided by the president of Mexico. At the same time, Samuel García, Nuevo León’s governor, announced that the Tesla legal team would arrive this week to work and review possible incentives for the Tesla plant.

No dates regarding the start-up were announced either, but once the incentive package is accepted, the Tesla group has plans to finish the mega plant in nine months. If this happens, this will be a mega record time.

The Nuevo Leon governor added that the incentive package is by law regulated by the Economic Development Law.

A few days ago, Mexico’s president announced that he was not permitting Tesla to build in Nuevo Leon for several years due to the state’s water problems.

The governor also shared that Elon Musk offered the services of his company of aquifer well exploration services named The Boring Company. This will help solve many problems, especially in the area where the plant intends to be built.

Mexico is the right country for an electric car plant. It is close to the United States of America, a great consumer. It is worth mentioning that the governor of Nuevo Leon has done everything he can to attract investment to his state and Mexico.
