This morningIDEA Public Schools hosted community leaders, board members, supporters, IDEA students, and others to celebrate the ribbon cutting of IDEA Toros’ newest state of the art campus.

In 2016, IDEA Toros partnered with Toros Academy to provide players with a rigorous academic program that would prepare them to balance academics and athletics as future collegiate athletes. IDEA Toro’s campus will serve grades 6th – 12th on their journey to and through college.

IDEA Public Schools was founded 20 years ago in the Rio Grande Valley in 2000. Since then, we have opened schools in Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Tarrant County, and Southern Louisiana. By 2022, IDEA will operate more than 200 schools in 10 regions preparing to serve 100,000 students and families.
