At IDEA Public Schools, the safety of our students and staff is a top priority. Yesterday, IDEA McAllen was notified of a potential threat made against the campus that triggered school safety concerns.
The local police department was immediately notified, the campus emergency response team was activated, and an investigation was launched by local authorities and the IDEA McAllen leadership team.
