McAllen, Texas – IBC Bank-McAllen is proud to announce the appointment of Vice President Mark Magnon to the board of directors for the Texas Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs. Magnon currently serves as the vice president of commercial lending at IBC Bank-McAllen.
“IBC Bank and Texas Alliance are both dedicated to our communities and the people in them,” said Magnon. “I am thrilled to join the Texas Alliance board and look forward to helping our youth realize their full potential.”
In 1999, the Texas Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs was established to enable Boys & Girls Club organizations in the state to effectively and efficiently work with public and private partners to address the state’s most pressing youth issues. The Texas Alliance’s mission is to provide Boys & Girls Clubs across Texas with the necessary resources to support their programs. Boys & Girls Clubs focus on programs that help youth build character, leadership skills and gain access to educational opportunities and career readiness.
In addition to his role at IBC Bank, Magnon is actively involved in several community service organizations. He is a past president and current member of the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of McAllen, member of the McAllen Chamber of Commerce International Committee, and on the advisory council for the Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship for the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
“Mark’s dedication to IBC Bank’s mission to ‘Do More’ in the communities we serve is truly inspirational,” said IBC Bank-McAllen President and CEO Adrian Villarreal. “He sets a wonderful example for his fellow employees, and we congratulate him on this prestigious appointment.”
