Alton, Texas– IBC Bank-McAllen is proud to announce the grand opening of its first branch location in Alton, Texas inside Junior’s Supermarket. The location, referred to as Alton Junior’s, will serve the residents of Alton as well as its surrounding communities. The bank celebrated the occasion with a formal grand opening event on Saturday, August 2nd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The grand opening event included a formal ribbon cutting ceremony, multiple raffles and was held in conjunction with a monthly community event hosted by Junior’s Supermarket. The event was well attended by city officials including Mayor of Alton Salvador Vela, community leaders, new bank employees and their families. IBC Bank is committed to giving back to the local communities they serve and thus a donation was presented to the Alton Sports Authority for $500, as well as IBC Bank was a sponsor for the City of Alton’s Back to School Fair held during the same week.
IBC Bank continues to steadily expand its reach in the Rio Grande Valley. The bank currently operates another Junior’s Supermarket branch in neighboring community San Juan, Texas. The San Juan branch has been providing the city with financial services since November 2005. TBB
