Mission, Texas — Workforce Solutions is proud to announce the tremendous success of the 2025 Hiring Red, White & You! Job Fair, held Tuesday morning at the Mission Event Center. The annual statewide initiative, designed to connect veterans, military families, and job seekers with employers ready to hire, exceeded expectations and delivered measurable impact across the Rio Grande Valley.
This year’s event brought together a powerful network of regional partners, including the Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Medical Center, Texas Veterans Commission, and the Mission Economic Development Corporation (Mission EDC).
The 2025 HRWY Job Fair achieved outstanding results:
- 621 job seekers attended
- 67 military veterans and 23 eligible veteran spouses received priority service
- 29 individuals were provided special accommodations to support full participation
- 438 attendees registered in WorkInTexas.com
- 105 employers were onsite, hiring and sharing valuable career information
“These numbers reflect far more than participation—they represent lives touched and opportunities created,” said Francisco Almaraz, Chief Executive Officer of Workforce Solutions. “Every connection made today has the potential to change a family’s future. We are incredibly proud of our team, our partners, and our employers for coming together to serve our community with dedication and heart. Today was a reminder of what’s possible when we work together.”
Workforce Solutions extends its gratitude to every employer, partner, volunteer, and attendee who contributed to today’s success. The professionalism, teamwork, and welcoming atmosphere were widely praised by both employers and job seekers.
