McALLEN – Due to inclement weather, the Houston Passport Agency will be closed through Monday, September 4. Citizens who have standing appointments and have not been contacted to reschedule are advised to call 1-877-487-2778.
The closure may affect McAllen residents seeking expedited services, which is not available at this point.

The City of McAllen Passport Acceptance Facility is located in the Downtown Parking Garage at 221 S. 15th Street and is open from Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.to 4:00 p.m. Applications are also accepted every second Saturday of each month between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If an appointment is preferred, please call in advance at (956) 681-1450.
