More than 3,000 people are expected to attend IDEA’s Winter Wonderland, one of the largest family-engagement celebrations in the Rio Grande Valley designed to spark joy, build community, and connect families with IDEA programs and resources.
“IDEA’s Winter Wonderland is one of our favorite moments of the year because it brings together everything that makes IDEA special, joy, community, and a deep commitment to serving families,” said Jill Dominguez, Area Superintendent of IDEA Public Schools in the RGV. “We’re proud to create a space where families can celebrate the season, connect with our team and family, and experience firsthand the programs that support student success from kindergarten through college.”
This year’s IDEA’s Winter Wonderland will include a variety of hands-on activities and program showcases designed to help families learn more about IDEA’s offerings in a fun, festive environment. Featured stations include Camp RIO, Kindergarten Readiness, Child Nutrition Program (CNP), Transportation, Healthy Kids Here, College Readiness & Dual Enrollment, plus several recruitment and community engagement activations.
