With eight years of experience at IDEA, Mrs. Loftis has been a driving force in shaping student success beyond academics by providing vital social-emotional support.
Mrs. Loftis supports 769 students in grades 6-12, offering short-term counseling, crisis intervention, safety planning, classroom guidance lessons, and family engagement initiatives. Her impact is profound, from fostering a positive school climate to helping students navigate personal challenges that could otherwise hinder their academic progress.
Mrs. Loftis believes that counselors are the silent builders of a student’s success, setting the foundation by guiding students to find their voice, face life’s hurdles, and unlock their full potential.
