WESLACO – The Hidalgo County Tax Assessor’s Office and Hidalgo County Appraisal District Office, in partnership with Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP, will be offering a free presentation on property taxes to all Hidalgo County residents. The seminar will take place on Wednesday, March 9 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the Weslaco Public Library at 525 S. Kansas Ave. in Weslaco.
Hidalgo County Tax Assessor Collector Paul Villarreal, Jr., Tax office Chief of Operations Eva Mireles, Hidalgo County Appraisal District Assistant Chief Appraiser Jorge Gonzalez, and Attorney Kelly R. Salazar from Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP will explain each aspect of property tax and will take questions from the public.
This presentation is part of a series of seminars being conducted across the county by the Tax Office and its community partners.
The event is free and open to the public.
