During the luncheon, Senior Deputy Constable Kimberly Echavarria was honored with the Precinct 3 Heroes Medal in recognition of her 22 years of dedicated service to Hidalgo County. Throughout her career, Kimberly has demonstrated exceptional leadership, a tireless work ethic, and a passion for serving her community.

Kimberly’s journey with Hidalgo County began as a clerk in Constable Gallardo’s office, followed by her role as a court coordinator for Justice of the Peace Judge Luis Garza. She then pursued her Peace Officer’s License and returned to the constable’s office as a Deputy. She also served as a Task Force Officer for the High Intensity Drug Task Force, playing an instrumental role in combating narcotic crimes and reducing the flow of illegal substances into our county.
