MISSION – Hidalgo County Precinct 3 Constable Lazaro “Larry” Gallardo Jr. has partnered with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to offer a day-long class designed for children ages 9 and older and novice hunters.
The Hunter Education Classroom course will be offered twice this summer and will cover core competencies of firearm and hunting safety, hunting ethics, and wildlife conservation. Following the class, qualifying students will receive a Texas Hunter Education certification card.
Pre-registration is required and the course fee is $15.
Students have two options to enroll in the Hunter Education Classroom course:
