The HARP Program, administered by the Texas GLO, is a new reimbursement and repair assistance program for residents of Hidalgo, Cameron, Jim Wells and Willacy Counties who were affected by the 2018 and 2019 rain storms. EDINBURG â€“ Hidalgo County Precinct 1 Commissioner David L. Fuentes and the Texas General Land Office (GLO) will be hosting a presentation for the Homeowner Assistance and Reimbursement Program (HARP) on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Pct. 1 Conference Center located at 1902 Joe Stephens in Weslaco.

The HARP Program, administered by the Texas GLO, is a new reimbursement and repair assistance program for residents of Hidalgo, Cameron, Jim Wells and Willacy Counties who were affected by the 2018 and 2019 rain storms. People who wish to apply for the program can learn how to qualify by attending the event. Representatives from the Texas General Land Office will be present to provide information, answer questions and provide step-by-step application guidance.
