Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez and guests unveiled the Essential Economic Trade Initiative, a binational economic initiative that will provide vaccines to Maquiladora employees working in Reynosa.
This program was created to boost and strengthen the supply of goods between the U.S. and Mexico border. The initial goal is to vaccinate up to 3,000 workers. This economic move is aimed at restoring one of our regions biggest economic engines which is the maquiladora industry.
The press conference was held in the chambers of the Hidalgo County Commissioners Court.
