Precinct 2 continues to provide healthy options at its Community Wellness Expo held the first Saturday of the month.
Hidalgo County Wellness Program Coordinator Diana Huallpa says the community is excited about all of the healthy options available at the Expos.
Dozens of families took part in a round of fitness exercises and yoga classes at the Hidalgo County Precinct 2 Indoor Sports Complex on Saturday, Dec. 7.
“Along with the classes, the community also had a chance to talk with nutritional experts about healthy food options,” Huallpa said. “Our third Expo was a big success.”
Huallpa also reported that the county Employee Wellness Challenge ends this week.
“We will be doing body composition analysis to all participating employees at the different precincts and departments,” she said.
