DONNA – As the state prepares to increase the pool of people eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccines to include all adults age 18 and older, it has directed Hidalgo County health officials to convert some of this week’s 2nd dose allotment to 1st doses.

This occurs days after Hidalgo County launched an online registration system and people seeking a 1st dose in the Donna area are encouraged to go to the online system beginning at 10 a.m. today to make an appointment.

The clinic will be held at Donna High School, at 2301 Wood Avenue in Donna. This clinic will be hosted by Donna ISD and Hidalgo County in partnership with Hidalgo County Health Department, Hidalgo County Precinct 1, City of Donna and South Texas College.
