PHARR, Texas – The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD (PSJA ISD) Health Services Department, in partnership with the PSJA Police Department, will host a Health and Safety Wheels event on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at M. Rivas Food Store in Pharr at 9:30 a.m.
This event is free and open to the public. Attendees will receive valuable educational information on various health and safety topics from PSJA ISD members.
During the event, PSJA ISD will highlight its Health & Safety Mobile Operations Bus, used by the district’s Health Services and Police Departments for community outreach and as a mobile command center during emergencies.
The event supports PSJA ISD’s commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
