FALFURRIAS, Texas â€” U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a 21 year-old United States citizen after a failed methamphetamine smuggling attempt at the immigration checkpoint.

On Sunday afternoon, agents working at the Falfurrias immigration checkpoint referred a Ford Expedition to the secondary inspection area. Utilizing non-intrusive inspection technology available at the checkpoint, agents discovered more than 75 pounds of methamphetamine hidden inside.
