Edinburg – The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce H-E-B as a sponsor for Fiesta Edinburg’s 50th Anniversary! H-E-B Partners presented a check for $2,500 to Edinburg Chamber of Commerce Fiesta Committee Directors on Tuesday, February 6th. The annual event will be held on February 22 -25, 2018 at the Edinburg Municipal Park. The 2018 festival will feature Grammy award winners INTOCABLE on February 23rd and LA MAFIA on February 24th. Fiesta Edinburg is the Edinburg Chamber’s largest celebration.
Besides being a fun, quality of life event for the city of Edinburg and the Rio Grande Valley, Fiesta Edinburg also symbolizes an important moment in Edinburg’s history. Fiesta Edinburg is known as a big celebration that was created to commemorate Edinburg’s County Seat. Fiesta Edinburg is celebrating 50 years of family fun and entertainment! Major attractions such as the Heart of America Carnival, regional food, arts/crafts plus top-notch entertainment are a large draw to the community festival.
Don’t miss this year’s Fiesta Parade as we celebrate fifty years “Traveling in time”. We encourage participants to decorate their floats celebrating the past 5 decades dating back to 1968 (60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 00’s). The parade will take place on Saturday, February 24th at 9:00am beginning at E.C.I.S.D. Richard R. Flores Stadium and ending at the Hidalgo County Courthouse parking lot (Town Square). Competitive participants will be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd! Fiesta Edinburg is a rain or shine event. Thank you to H-E-B for their generous sponsorship.
