EDINBURG – Hidalgo County Precinct 4 Commissioner Ellie Torres invites you to the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the J-01 Stormwater Project ARPA Phase I. This project is another drainage enhancement under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds Program administered by the United States Department of Treasury. The scope of work consists of clearing and reshaping ditch, installation of storm drain pipe and inlet, inline check valve and rip rap.
Over the past years, Precinct 4 has worked on improving drainage infrastructure by leveraging in-house projects and utilizing funds from 2018 Bond, 2023 Bond and ARPA. These
combined efforts have successfully brought numerous drainage improvements in the precinct.
