MISSION, TX – The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce will host its Buenas Tardes Luncheon on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Club at Cimarron located at 1200 South Shary Road in Mission, Texas. City leaders and business community members are encouraged to attend this informative luncheon with invaluable networking with over 150 local professionals. This quarter’s Buenas Tardes Luncheon is sponsored by South Texas Health System and will feature Interim CEO of McAllen Heart Hospital and STHS ER’s at Weslaco and Mission, Lance Ames. The topic will be “Improving Emergency Care for South Texas”.
Tickets are only $20 per person if purchased before Thursday, March 24th. They may also be purchased at the door for $25. About Keynote Speaker, Lance Ames
Lance Ames has worked with South Texas Health System for three years as an Associate Administrator at Edinburg Regional Medical Center, Edinburg Children’s Hospital, and McAllen Medical Center. He is currently serving as the Interim Chief Executive Officer for McAllen Heart Hospital with oversight of the Mission and Weslaco Freestanding Emergency Departments.
Lance earned his Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and has a bachelors in Biology and minor in Business Management from Brigham Young University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
In his spare time, Lance enjoys coaching his daughter’s youth basketball team and exploring the beautiful South Texas outdoors with his wife and kids.
