Brownsville, TX – The Children’s Museum of Brownsville is extending invitations to media and media-personnel to attend the grand opening of the brand new Sun, Earth, Universe exhibit on Monday, January 28 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the museum.

The exhibit is an interactive series of stations designed to allow children to learn about and explore concepts related to space and space-related phenomena. Activities range from building and testing small spacecrafts to detecting magnetic waves using infrared camera technology, and even a dedicated reading area with several space-related books available to browse. The Sun, Earth, Universe exhibit is a collaborative creation of the Science Museum of Minnesota and the National Informal STEM Education Network and is based upon actual research conducted by NASA.
