Governor of Tamaulipas Attending to State Hispanic Chambers Meeting in McAllen

The RGV Hispanic Chamber, the Camara de Comercio de Empresarios and the South Texas Hispanic Chamber will host the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC) Quarterly meeting in McAllen on Feb. 17th & 18th.  Chamber representatives from throughout the State will be attending to learn more about small business and to discuss problems that may be occurring for the business community due to what is happening in Washington. 

The public is invited to attend the workshops on Friday, Feb. 17th to be held at the Renaissance Casa de Palmas.  Workshops on Tax Tips for small businesses, benefits on getting HUB, 8-A and women owned business certifications, How to do business in the United States, Tax Tips for Non-Profits, etc.  The workshops start at 9:00am to 5:00pm.  Special guest at the Quarterly will be Tamaulipas Governor Francisco Cabeza de Vaca who will meet with the TAMACC delegates.

Hispanic chambers attending will be coming from:  Dallas, Houston, Amarillo, Del Rio, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Austin, Ft. Worth, Waco, Brazoria, El Paso, Laredo, Harlingen and the South Texas.  Chambers from Mexico have also been invited.  To register for the workshops you can call the RGVHCC office at 928-0060 or CAMCOIN office at 627-0261
