Texas Border Business
Lemonade Day is a FREE community-wide educational program that teaches youth the necessary entrepreneurial skills to start, own, and operate their own business – a lemonade stand. Our event is scheduled for May 12, 2018. We are set to go and we want your business to participate.
How can you participate?
- Provide a prize for “The Entrepreneur of the Year” or “The Best Stand”. The Entrepreneur of the Year is a prize that will be granted to the stand that collects the most revenue and that has a great story! We will create a basquet of cool prices donated by y’all. This is a simple and easy way to promote your business.
- Offer your business as a location. This is another way you can drag attention to your business. If you are in McAllen, and have restrooms available from 10 am to 4 pm, you pretty much qualify to host a location. If you want to submit your business as a location click here.
- Encourage Your Employees to Register Their Children. Businesses can have a lot of fun with the program by running internal contests with their employees or by simply creating a healthy sense of community involvement. We can even provide template emails for you to send to your employees. There is no cost to participate! Contact us to discuss how would be the best way to get you involved.
