On March 26, 2022, CBP officers at Juarez-Lincoln Bridge referred a 2004 Chevy Silverado driven by John Anthony Meza, 20, a U.S. citizen for a secondary examination. Once in secondary, biometric verification confirmed his identity along with an active arrest warrant for sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony, from Taylor County Sheriff’s Office in Abilene, Texas.
