EDINBURG, Texas – The City of Edinburg Cultural Arts Division invites you to experience Frida Fest 2026, a vibrant community celebration honoring the life, art, and legacy of iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.
Join us Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Promenade Park Amphitheater, located at 201 W. McIntyre St., Edinburg, TX, for an unforgettable evening filled with color, culture, and creativity.
The night comes alive with live entertainment on the Main Frida Stage, featuring high‑energy performances by Ache de Barrio and a show‑stopping headlining performance by Magali Delarosa. Guests will also enjoy captivating Flamenco and Folklórico dance performances that celebrate the richness of Hispanic heritage.
Throughout the park, explore immersive and interactive art experiences, including live muralists, large‑scale chalk art, a Frida Wings photo mural, and “The Life of Frida” educational tent. Community creativity takes center stage during the Frida look‑alike contest and Frida‑inspired fashion show, showcasing bold style and artistic expression. Frida Fest is designed for all ages! Families can enjoy carnival rides, a Kids Zone, hands‑on art activities, wellness art experiences, and interactive creative stations. The “Arts for EveryBody” Stage will highlight performances by local schools and studio groups, while food vendors and artisan booths offer delicious local flavors and unique handmade goods.
