The McAllen International Jazz Alliance (MIJA) is preparing for its 2nd Annual event by Sunset Live Outdoor Concert Series. The community is invited to enjoy an evening of music and culture through this vibrant celebration of jazz and contemporary music. Talented musicians from across the region and beyond will take the stage for a unique outdoor concert experience.
This free, family-friendly event reflects the City’s commitment to expanding access to high-quality arts and cultural programming. In addition to live music, the festival features an artisan market with over 20 local vendors offering handmade goods, as well as a variety of food trucks serving local favorites.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to relax and enjoy the performances in the scenic setting of Oval Park. With its welcoming atmosphere, MIJA Festival is an ideal outing for families, music lovers, and anyone looking to experience the creative energy of the Rio Grande Valley.
MIJA is part of an initiative of the McAllen Performing & Cultural Arts Foundation that highlights local and regional talent while fostering community engagement through accessible arts experiences.
