Representing the State of Texas as Mrs. World Texas 2020 is Francine Gonzalez, from Brownsville, Texas.
Francine Gonzalez likes to think she inspires others with her actions alone but never forgets the power of her voice. She has had many great accomplishments throughout her career and self- started businesses. She is the owner of Guardian Life Insurance and a pet store called Exotic Aquatics. She is the proud daughter of Lorenzo and Rosemary Bazan. Her greatest accomplishment is being a mother to her four beautiful children, Alyssa, Bryanna, Marco and Lauren. They are the light of her life. She has been married for twenty-one years to the love of her life, Marco Gonzalez.
She enjoys being part of the MS and MRS. Texas World family because it gives the Beauty Pageant World an entirely new and inspiring definition by celebrating not only Beauty but even more importantly self -worth, selflessness and achievement in community. One of her most valuable traits is her Compassion for others. She always puts others before herself, following the golden rule doing her best to treat people the way she would want to be treated regardless of Race, Religion or social status.
Her defining strength is that she is an individual who has overcome many adversities in her life but never gave up and always stayed positive and looked ahead to brighter days. She believes in high standards. She holds herself accountable every day to the ultimate standard and does so unapologetically she believes that the quality of who you are is the reflection of the standards you set for yourself and positions herself to live up to the rise of her own expectations.
What makes her unique is that she understands how precious time is. Francine knows time is free but priceless and is a resource to be invested in carefully. Every day is a gift and she chooses to live life to the fullest.
Francine has suffered from Inflammatory Bowel Disease for years. Her goal is to never stop learning and to continue doing her part to raise awareness for millions of people who suffer or go undiagnosed from Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
Francine will be participating in the Ms. World International pageant in Las Vegas in February 2021. The Ms. World pageant encourages and empowers the women of today. The pageant provides each candidate the opportunity for personal growth, self-expression and development – through stage presence, public speaking and international travel opportunities we recognize women’s strengths and accomplishments. With integrity, strong moral values, and promoting intelligent women of today Ms. World provides unique opportunities for all women to achieve their goals.
Ms. World is a proud partner of The National Organization for Women’s Safety Awareness, Inc. (“NOWSA”), a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, raises awareness about sexual assault and other violence against women and teens while promoting personal safety through education and various violence prevention and safety initiatives.
