MCALLEN, Texas – February 2014- Following a year of solid growth, ERO Architects is expanding its team of talented professionals. Sergio E. Castillo, BIM Specialist, recently joined the McAllen-headquartered architectural/ engineering firm.
Castillo quickly took on the opportunity to further his professional development as he became the first and only Revit® Architecture Certified Professional in the Rio Grande Valley. The certification was awarded by Autodesk® and only 37 individuals in Texas, including Castillo, hold this distinction.
Castillo told Texas Border Business, “I’ve dedicated the last five years to not only using Revit for Building Information Modeling (BIM) exclusively, but also mastering every aspect necessary to be successful and make it my own.” He continued to say, “Finally, finding a place within ERO Architects inspired me to test my skills and prove to myself I could become one of the few who can call themselves a BIM Specialist by receiving a certification from a recognizable corporation.”
