EDINBURG, Texas – The City of Edinburg unveiled the new and improved Jose Nieto and Consuelo Alfaro Robledo Center, fondly known throughout the community as the El Tule Recreational Center, September 15, 2023.


The ribbon cutting for the long-awaited $5.3 million project was held at 10 a.m. at 700 South Veterans Boulevard. The 27,000-square-foot building features three basketball courts and a 2,000-foot walking trail surrounding the facility.This marks another milestone in the city’s ongoing effort to provide state-of-the-art facility
