Edwards Abstract and Title Co. started 2015 with a large group of industry leaders as they welcomed Dr. Guy Bailey, President of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. On January 8, Dr. Bailey spoke at the Business Connection Luncheon held at the McAllen Convention Center.
The luncheon was hosted by Edwards Abstract and Title Co. in conjunction with the company’s business model of hosting events for real estate industry professionals that are informative, current and pertinent to the growth of the Rio Grande Valley and the real estate industry. Edwards Abstract and Title Co.’s Executive Committee, Management Team and Escrow Officers welcomed almost 125 civic, business and industry leaders.
Dr. Bailey focused his comments on the new university’s progress and the anticipated impact of the medical school. A delegation of several leaders representing the university were also on hand including Dr. Havidán Rodríguez University of Texas Pan American President, Ad Interim.
