Mission, Texas- The Education Foundation of Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) was presented with a special honor during the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards gala. They received the Community Impact Award recognizing the outstanding contributions to the community made by the Education Foundation. The annual award is given to a deserving non-profit making a difference in Mission. 

The Education Foundation of Mission CISD has provided over $143,000 in grants, scholarships, and support of the Back to School Bash in the last four years. In total, the Education Foundation has impacted the lives of over 2,100 students and staff this past year, alone. 

The Education Foundation of Mission CISD is a non-profit committed to supporting the students and staff of Mission CISD and helping provide additional resources used in improving classroom instruction. They provide grants to teachers, scholarships for students, scholarships for employees, help with back to school clothing for struggling families, and major support of the annual Back to School Bash.
